Terms of Service
The rules for using TablesQR: digital menus, table ordering, and restaurant subscriptions.
Last updated: 10 July 2026
1. Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a contract between you and TablesQR ("TablesQR", "we", "us"), operated from Bangalore, India. By creating an account, accessing the website, or using our dashboard, guest menus, QR codes, or related APIs, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you use TablesQR on behalf of a restaurant or business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. The service
TablesQR is a software platform that helps restaurants publish digital menus, generate QR codes, take table orders, run kitchen display (KDS) workflows, manage tables and team members, apply themes, and subscribe to paid plans. Features available to you depend on your plan (Free, Lite, Pro, Pro+, or a trial) and may change as we improve the product.
Guests who open a menu via QR or link use TablesQR only to view menus and, where enabled, place orders for that restaurant. Guest ordering is a messaging channel to the restaurant — TablesQR does not process guest card payments at the table.
3. Accounts and eligibility
- You must provide accurate registration details (including email and phone where required) and keep them up to date.
- You are responsible for safeguarding login credentials and for activity under your account.
- We may require email verification and a phone number on file before full access.
- You must be able to form a binding contract under applicable law. Do not use TablesQR if you are prohibited from receiving services under Indian or other applicable law.
4. Restaurant content and operations
You retain ownership of menu items, prices, images, branding, and other content you upload ("Restaurant Content"). You grant TablesQR a licence to host, display, and process that content solely to operate and improve the service for you and your guests.
- You are solely responsible for menu accuracy, allergens, pricing, taxes, service charges, and compliance with food and consumer laws.
- You are responsible for fulfilling (or declining) guest orders and for any disputes with diners.
- You must have rights to all images and branding you upload.
- Publishing may require complete branding assets as described in the product.
5. Guest use
Guests may provide limited information (for example name, phone, or coupon codes) to place or identify an order. Guests must not abuse ordering, attempt to disrupt sessions, or use the menu for unlawful purposes. Restaurants remain the merchant of record for the dining experience; TablesQR is the technology provider.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Break the law, infringe others’ rights, or upload harmful, deceptive, or illegal content.
- Probe, scan, or attack our systems; bypass rate limits, signed QR URLs, or access controls.
- Resell, scrape, or misuse the service in a way that harms TablesQR or other customers.
- Use the service to send spam or unsolicited marketing outside features we explicitly provide.
- Misrepresent your identity, restaurant, or plan entitlements.
We may suspend or terminate access for violations, abuse, or risk to the platform.
7. Plans, trials, and billing
Paid plans are recurring subscriptions billed in Indian Rupees (INR) through Razorpay. Plan limits (menus, orders, themes, analytics, and similar) are described in the product and may be updated with notice. Free trials, if offered, are subject to eligibility rules and may end without converting to a paid plan unless you add billing.
Cancellation, renewals, upgrades, downgrades, and refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy. By completing checkout you also agree to the payment terms shown at purchase.
8. Third-party services
TablesQR relies on providers such as hosting and database (including Supabase), payments (Razorpay), and email delivery. SMS/phone verification providers may be used if we re-enable SMS codes. Their terms and privacy practices apply to their processing. Outages or changes at those providers may affect TablesQR.
9. Intellectual property
The TablesQR name, logos, software, themes, and documentation are owned by us or our licensors. Except for the limited rights needed to use the service, no IP licence is granted. Feedback you send may be used to improve the product without obligation to you.
10. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that menus and orders will meet every restaurant’s operational needs.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TablesQR and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our aggregate liability arising out of these Terms or the service will not exceed the fees you paid to TablesQR for the restaurant subscription in the three (3) months before the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (including fraud or certain consumer rights where they apply).
12. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify TablesQR against claims arising from your Restaurant Content, your dining operations, your guests’ experience, or your breach of these Terms, except to the extent caused by our wilful misconduct.
13. Suspension and termination
You may stop using TablesQR and delete your account where the product allows. We may suspend or terminate access for non-payment, abuse, legal risk, or prolonged inactivity. After termination, we may delete or anonymise data subject to our Privacy Policy and legal retention needs. Paid periods already billed are handled under the Refund Policy.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Bangalore, Karnataka shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply.
15. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date, and where appropriate we may notify account holders by email or in the product. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
