Refer & Earn Program Policy
The rules for the TablesQR referral program: eligibility, commission, payouts, and prohibited conduct.
Last updated: 25 August 2026
1. Scope
This Refer & Earn Program Policy ("Program Policy") governs the TablesQR referral program described at tablesqr.com/refer-and-earn. It forms part of, and should be read together with, our Terms of Service. It applies whenever you generate a referral code, refer a restaurant, or earn or receive commission through the program.
2. How the program works
Any TablesQR account holder can generate a personal referral code from the Refer & Earn section of their dashboard. If a new user enters your code when creating their account, or when redeeming it to unlock a free trial, they are attributed to you as a referral. When a restaurant owned by a referred user subscribes to a paid plan (Lite, Pro, or Pro+), you earn commission on that payment as described in section 4.
3. Eligibility and your referral code
- You need a TablesQR account to generate a referral code. You do not need to own or run a restaurant on TablesQR yourself.
- Each account may hold one referral code. Codes are personal and must not be transferred, sold, or shared as if they belonged to someone else.
- You may not use your own code, or otherwise refer an account you own or control, to generate commission.
- Attribution happens once, the first time a valid code is entered by a user (at signup or when redeeming a trial), and is permanent. A different code entered later by that same user does not change who they are attributed to.
4. Commission
- Your commission rate is fixed at the rate in effect when a referral is attributed to you, and will not change for that referral even if we change the standard rate for new referrals afterward.
- Commission is calculated on amounts TablesQR actually receives for the referred restaurant’s plan (net of any coupon or discount applied), not on published list prices.
- No commission accrues on Free-plan usage, on charges that fail, or on amounts that are refunded or reversed. If a payment that already generated a commission is later refunded, we may void that commission before it is paid out.
- This is a single-tier program: you earn only on restaurants you directly refer, never on referrals made by someone you referred.
5. Prohibited conduct
When promoting your referral code, you agree not to:
- Refer yourself, a duplicate account, or an account you otherwise control.
- Create fake or duplicate accounts to generate referrals or commission.
- Misrepresent TablesQR’s pricing, features, or affiliation when pitching the program.
- Send spam or unsolicited bulk messages to promote your code.
- Use TablesQR’s name, logo, or branding in paid advertising without our written permission.
We may disable a referral code, withhold or reclaim commission, and suspend program participation for any violation of this section.
6. Payouts and tax
- Payouts run monthly, once your unpaid commission balance crosses ₹100, by UPI or bank transfer to the payout details you provide in your dashboard.
- You are responsible for providing accurate payout details (UPI ID, or bank account and IFSC) and a valid PAN. Incorrect details may delay or prevent payout.
- You are responsible for reporting and paying tax on commission you earn as your own income. TablesQR will deduct tax at source (TDS) where required by Indian law before paying you.
7. No guaranteed earnings; independent status
Participation in the referral program is not a guarantee of income. Your earnings depend entirely on whether restaurants you refer subscribe to a paid plan and remain subscribed. Past or example earnings shown on our website are illustrative only.
You participate as an independent member of the public, not as an employee, agent, franchisee, or partner of TablesQR. Nothing in this Program Policy creates an employment, agency, or partnership relationship between you and TablesQR.
8. Suspension, termination, and changes to the program
We may disable a referral code, withhold or reclaim commission, or end a participant's access to the program at any time for suspected fraud, abuse, or breach of this Program Policy or our Terms of Service.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the referral program at any time. Doing so will not change the commission rate already fixed for referrals attributed to you before the change, as described in section 4.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Program Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued participation in the referral program after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
