Cookie Policy
How TablesQR uses cookies and similar technologies on our website and product.
Last updated: 10 July 2026
1. Overview
This Cookie Policy explains how TablesQR ("we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit tablesqr.com or use our dashboard and guest menus. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
2. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, and pixels. They help websites remember preferences, keep you signed in, and understand basic usage.
3. How we use cookies
Essential / strictly necessary
- Authentication and session cookies so restaurant users stay signed in securely across pages.
- Security and abuse-prevention signals (for example supporting rate limits and CSRF-style protections where applicable).
- Guest table-session tokens needed to keep an ordering session working until staff close it or it expires.
These cookies are required for TablesQR to function. If you block them, sign-in, dashboard access, or guest ordering may not work.
Preferences and product
- Remembering UI choices where the product stores light preferences locally.
Analytics (if enabled)
- We may use privacy-conscious analytics to understand aggregate traffic and improve the product. If we introduce non-essential analytics cookies, we will update this policy and, where required, request consent.
4. Third-party cookies
Payment checkout (Razorpay) and verification providers may set their own cookies when you use those flows. Those cookies are governed by the respective provider’s policies. We do not control third-party cookies on their domains.
5. Duration
- Session cookies expire when you close your browser or after a short idle period.
- Persistent cookies remain until they expire or you delete them (for example longer-lived auth refresh cookies managed by our auth provider).
6. Your choices
You can control cookies through your browser settings (block, delete, or alert on cookies). Blocking essential cookies will limit core features. For privacy rights related to personal data stored via cookies, see our Privacy Policy or email support@tablesqr.com.
7. Changes
We may update this Cookie Policy when our practices change. Check the “Last updated” date on this page for the latest version.
