Refund & Cancellation Policy
How TablesQR subscriptions, trials, upgrades, and cancellations work, including when refunds apply.
Last updated: 10 July 2026
1. Scope
This policy covers paid TablesQR restaurant subscriptions (Lite, Pro, Pro+) billed in Indian Rupees (INR) via Razorpay, including trials that convert to paid plans. It forms part of our Terms of Service. Guest diners do not pay TablesQR for food or table orders through the app.
2. Recurring billing
- Paid plans renew automatically each billing period (monthly or annual) until you cancel.
- Charges use the payment method you authorise in Razorpay checkout.
- Applicable taxes may be added as required by law.
- Plan prices shown in the product are the amounts due for future periods unless a coupon or trial deferral applies.
3. Free trials
When a Lite or Pro trial is available, you can try paid features for a limited time without an upfront charge. If you add billing during a trial for the same plan, your payment method may be saved immediately and the first paid charge scheduled for when the trial ends. If you upgrade to a higher plan during a trial, paid billing for that higher plan may start when you complete checkout.
If you do not add a payment method before the trial ends, the restaurant returns to Free plan limits. Trial eligibility may be limited to prevent abuse.
4. How to cancel
- Restaurant owners can cancel from Billing & Plans in the dashboard.
- After cancellation, paid features typically continue until the end of the current paid period, then the restaurant moves to the Free plan (unless we state otherwise at checkout).
- Cancel before renewal if you do not want the next charge.
5. Upgrades and downgrades
- Monthly upgrades: you complete checkout for the new plan; the previous subscription is cancelled after payment succeeds.
- Annual upgrades: you may pay a prorated difference for time remaining; the new plan starts immediately and renews on the existing renewal date at the standard annual price.
- Downgrades: we do not refund unused time on the current plan. The lower plan starts when the change is confirmed; you are charged for the new plan as described in checkout.
- Features and limits follow your active plan as soon as the change is recorded in TablesQR.
6. Coupons and discounts
Promotional coupons reduce the price shown at checkout for the period stated in the offer. After a coupon period ends, renewals bill at the standard plan price unless another offer applies. Misuse of coupons may result in removal of the discount or suspension.
7. Refunds
Because TablesQR is a digital subscription that can be used as soon as payment succeeds, fees are generally non-refundable once charged, including for partial billing periods, unused features, or downgrades.
We may issue a refund or credit at our discretion, or when required by law, for example:
- Duplicate or clearly erroneous charges caused by a platform billing error.
- Where Indian consumer protection or other mandatory law requires a remedy.
Refund requests should be sent to support@tablesqr.com with your restaurant name, account email, and approximate charge date. Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method via Razorpay and may take several business days depending on your bank.
8. Failed payments
If a renewal fails (expired card, insufficient funds, etc.), Razorpay may retry or mark the subscription halted. Paid features may be suspended until payment succeeds. Update your payment method through Razorpay or contact support for help.
9. Price changes
We may change plan prices with notice where required. Continued use after a price change takes effect constitutes acceptance for future billing periods. Changes do not usually alter amounts already successfully charged for the current period.
